Combating social isolation
Many seniors in nursing homes suffer from severe loneliness, with over 50% stemming from a lack of social interactions. Aged Well Thrift Store actively works to alleviate this by fostering meaningful connections. Each month, we read to residents in nursing facilities, creating moments of joy and engagement. You can help by forming social bonds, sharing personal stories, playing games, or simply sitting quietly with our seniors. Let's put an end to elderly loneliness together.
